Saheeh International

1. قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِى بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

   He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do?

   الشعراء ১১২

2. إِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّى ۖ لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ

   Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive.

   الشعراء ১১৩

3. وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

   And I am not one to drive away the believers.

   الشعراء ১১৪

4. إِنْ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ

   I am only a clear warner."

   الشعراء ১১৫

5. قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَـٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَرْجُومِينَ

   They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned."

   الشعراء ১১৬

6. قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى كَذَّبُونِ

   He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me.

   الشعراء ১১৭

7. فَٱفْتَحْ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَنَجِّنِى وَمَن مَّعِىَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

   Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers."

   الشعراء ১১৮

8. فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ

   So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship.

   الشعراء ১১৯

9. ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ

   Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones.

   الشعراء ১২০

10. إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

    Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

    الشعراء ১২১

11. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

    And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.

    الشعراء ১২২

12. كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

    ʿAad denied the messengers

    الشعراء ১২৩

13. إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

    When their brother Hūd said to them, "Will you not fear Allāh?

    الشعراء ১২৪

14. إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ

    Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.

    الشعراء ১২৫

15. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

    So fear Allāh and obey me.

    الشعراء ১২৬

16. وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

    And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.

    الشعراء ১২৭

17. أَتَبْنُونَ بِكُلِّ رِيعٍ ءَايَةً تَعْبَثُونَ

    Do you construct on every elevation a sign, amusing yourselves,

    الشعراء ১২৮

18. وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُونَ

    And take for yourselves constructions [i.e., palaces and fortresses] that you might abide eternally?

    الشعراء ১২৯

19. وَإِذَا بَطَشْتُم بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِينَ

    And when you strike, you strike as tyrants.

    الشعراء ১৩০

20. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

    So fear Allāh and obey me.

    الشعراء ১৩১

21. وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَمَدَّكُم بِمَا تَعْلَمُونَ

    And fear He who provided you with that which you know,

    الشعراء ১৩২

22. أَمَدَّكُم بِأَنْعَـٰمٍ وَبَنِينَ

    Provided you with grazing livestock and children

    الشعراء ১৩৩

23. وَجَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ

    And gardens and springs.

    الشعراء ১৩৪

24. إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

    Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a terrible day."

    الشعراء ১৩৫

25. قَالُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَوَعَظْتَ أَمْ لَمْ تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْوَٰعِظِينَ

    They said, "It is all the same to us whether you advise or are not of the advisors.

    الشعراء ১৩৬
