Saheeh International

1. كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

   The people of Lot denied the messengers

   الشعراء ১৬০

2. إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allāh?

   الشعراء ১৬১

3. إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ

   Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.

   الشعراء ১৬২

4. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   So fear Allāh and obey me.

   الشعراء ১৬৩

5. وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

   And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.

   الشعراء ১৬৪

6. أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

   Do you approach males among the worlds

   الشعراء ১৬৫

7. وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ

   And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing."

   الشعراء ১৬৬

8. قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَـٰلُوطُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُخْرَجِينَ

   They said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted."

   الشعراء ১৬৭

9. قَالَ إِنِّى لِعَمَلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلْقَالِينَ

   He said, "Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it].

   الشعراء ১৬৮

10. رَبِّ نَجِّنِى وَأَهْلِى مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ

    My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do."

    الشعراء ১৬৯

11. فَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ

    So We saved him and his family, all,

    الشعراء ১৭০

12. إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِى ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ

    Except an old woman among those who remained behind.

    الشعراء ১৭১

13. ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ

    Then We destroyed the others.

    الشعراء ১৭২

14. وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ

    And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned.

    الشعراء ১৭৩

15. إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

    Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

    الشعراء ১৭৪

16. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

    And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.

    الشعراء ১৭৫

17. كَذَّبَ أَصْحَـٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

    The companions of the thicket [i.e., the people of Madyan] denied the messengers

    الشعراء ১৭৬

18. إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ شُعَيْبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

    When Shuʿayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allāh?

    الشعراء ১৭৭

19. إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ

    Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.

    الشعراء ১৭৮

20. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

    So fear Allāh and obey me.

    الشعراء ১৭৯

21. وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

    And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.

    الشعراء ১৮০

22. ۞ أَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْكَيْلَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُخْسِرِينَ

    Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss.

    الشعراء ১৮১

23. وَزِنُوا۟ بِٱلْقِسْطَاسِ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِ

    And weigh with an even [i.e., honest] balance.

    الشعراء ১৮২

24. وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا۟ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشْيَآءَهُمْ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ

    And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption.
