Saheeh International

1. وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ وَٱلْجِبِلَّةَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

   And fear He who created you and the former creation."

   الشعراء ১৮৪

2. قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ

   They said, "You are only of those affected by magic.

   الشعراء ১৮৫

3. وَمَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَإِن نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ

   You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars.

   الشعراء ১৮৬

4. فَأَسْقِطْ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

   So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful."

   الشعراء ১৮৭

5. قَالَ رَبِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

   He said, "My Lord is most knowing of what you do."

   الشعراء ১৮৮

6. فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ ٱلظُّلَّةِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

   And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day.

   الشعراء ১৮৯

7. إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

   Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

   الشعراء ১৯০

8. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

   And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.

   الشعراء ১৯১

9. وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَنزِيلُ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

   And indeed, it [i.e., the Qur’ān] is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds.

   الشعراء ১৯২

10. نَزَلَ بِهِ ٱلرُّوحُ ٱلْأَمِينُ

    The Trustworthy Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] has brought it down

    الشعراء ১৯৩

11. عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ

    Upon your heart, [O Muḥammad] - that you may be of the warners -

    الشعراء ১৯৪

12. بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِىٍّ مُّبِينٍ

    In a clear Arabic language.

    الشعراء ১৯৫

13. وَإِنَّهُۥ لَفِى زُبُرِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

    And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the scriptures of former peoples.

    الشعراء ১৯৬

14. أَوَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُمْ ءَايَةً أَن يَعْلَمَهُۥ عُلَمَـٰٓؤُا۟ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

    And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel?

    الشعراء ১৯৭

15. وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَـٰهُ عَلَىٰ بَعْضِ ٱلْأَعْجَمِينَ

    And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners

    الشعراء ১৯৮

16. فَقَرَأَهُۥ عَلَيْهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ مُؤْمِنِينَ

    And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it.

    الشعراء ১৯৯

17. كَذَٰلِكَ سَلَكْنَـٰهُ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

    Thus have We inserted it [i.e., disbelief] into the hearts of the criminals.

    الشعراء ২০০

18. لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ

    They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment.

    الشعراء ২০১

19. فَيَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

    And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not.

    الشعراء ২০২

20. فَيَقُولُوا۟ هَلْ نَحْنُ مُنظَرُونَ

    And they will say, "May we be reprieved?"

    الشعراء ২০৩

21. أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

    So for Our punishment are they impatient?

    الشعراء ২০৪

22. أَفَرَءَيْتَ إِن مَّتَّعْنَـٰهُمْ سِنِينَ

    Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years

    الشعراء ২০৫

23. ثُمَّ جَآءَهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ

    And then there came to them that which they were promised?

    الشعراء ২০৬
