Saheeh International

1. وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا

   And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt [i.e., praise] Him a long [part of the] night.

   الانسان ٢٦

2. إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا

   Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day.

   الانسان ٢٧

3. نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَـٰهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَآ أَسْرَهُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَآ أَمْثَـٰلَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا

   We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration.

   الانسان ٢٨

4. إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌ ۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا

   Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way.

   الانسان ٢٩

5. وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

   And you do not will except that Allāh wills. Indeed, Allāh is ever Knowing and Wise.

   الانسان ٣٠

6. يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ وَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۢا

   He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment.

   الانسان ٣١

7. وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًا

   By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

   المرسلات ١

8. فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًا

   And the winds that blow violently

   المرسلات ٢

9. وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا

   And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

   المرسلات ٣

10. فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًا

    And those [angels] who bring criterion

    المرسلات ٤

11. فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا

    And those [angels] who deliver a message.

    المرسلات ٥

12. عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا

    As justification or warning,

    المرسلات ٦

13. إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ

    Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.

    المرسلات ٧

14. فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ

    So when the stars are obliterated

    المرسلات ٨

15. وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ

    And when the heaven is opened

    المرسلات ٩

16. وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ

    And when the mountains are blown away

    المرسلات ١٠

17. وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ

    And when the messengers' time has come...

    المرسلات ١١

18. لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ

    For what Day was it postponed?

    المرسلات ١٢

19. لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ

    For the Day of Judgement.

    المرسلات ١٣

20. وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ

    And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?

    المرسلات ١٤

21. وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

    المرسلات ١٥

22. أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

    Did We not destroy the former peoples?

    المرسلات ١٦

23. ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ

    Then We will follow them with the later ones.

    المرسلات ١٧

24. كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

    Thus do We deal with the criminals.

    المرسلات ١٨

25. وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
