Saheeh International

1. وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ

   And grant me a mention [i.e., reputation] of honor among later generations.

   الشعراء ٨٤

2. وَٱجْعَلْنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

   And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure.

   الشعراء ٨٥

3. وَٱغْفِرْ لِأَبِىٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

   And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray.

   الشعراء ٨٦

4. وَلَا تُخْزِنِى يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ

   And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected -

   الشعراء ٨٧

5. يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ

   The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children

   الشعراء ٨٨

6. إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ

   But only one who comes to Allāh with a sound heart."

   الشعراء ٨٩

7. وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

   And Paradise will be brought near [that Day] to the righteous.

   الشعراء ٩٠

8. وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلْجَحِيمُ لِلْغَاوِينَ

   And Hellfire will be brought forth for the deviators,

   الشعراء ٩١

9. وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ

   And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship

   الشعراء ٩٢

10. مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ هَلْ يَنصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنتَصِرُونَ

    Other than Allāh? Can they help you or help themselves?"

    الشعراء ٩٣

11. فَكُبْكِبُوا۟ فِيهَا هُمْ وَٱلْغَاوُۥنَ

    So they will be overturned into it [i.e., Hellfire], they and the deviators

    الشعراء ٩٤

12. وَجُنُودُ إِبْلِيسَ أَجْمَعُونَ

    And the soldiers of Iblees, all together.

    الشعراء ٩٥

13. قَالُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ

    They will say while they dispute therein,

    الشعراء ٩٦

14. تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

    "By Allāh, we were indeed in manifest error

    الشعراء ٩٧

15. إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

    When we equated you with the Lord of the worlds.

    الشعراء ٩٨

16. وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

    And no one misguided us except the criminals.

    الشعراء ٩٩

17. فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَـٰفِعِينَ

    So now we have no intercessors

    الشعراء ١٠٠

18. وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍ

    And not a devoted friend.

    الشعراء ١٠١

19. فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers..."

    الشعراء ١٠٢

20. إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

    Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

    الشعراء ١٠٣

21. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

    And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.

    الشعراء ١٠٤

22. كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

    The people of Noah denied the messengers

    الشعراء ١٠٥

23. إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

    When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allāh?

    الشعراء ١٠٦

24. إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ

    Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.

    الشعراء ١٠٧

25. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

    So fear Allāh and obey me.

    الشعراء ١٠٨

26. وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

    And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.

    الشعراء ١٠٩

27. فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

    So fear Allāh and obey me."

    الشعراء ١١٠

28. ۞ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلْأَرْذَلُونَ

    They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?"

    الشعراء ١١١
