Saheeh International

1. إِنَّهُۥ لَقُرْءَانٌ كَرِيمٌ

   Indeed, it is a noble Qur’ān.

   الواقعة ٧٧

2. فِى كِتَـٰبٍ مَّكْنُونٍ

   In a Register well-protected;.

   الواقعة ٧٨

3. لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْمُطَهَّرُونَ

   None touch it except the purified [i.e., the angels].

   الواقعة ٧٩

4. تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

   [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

   الواقعة ٨٠

5. أَفَبِهَـٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ أَنتُم مُّدْهِنُونَ

   Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent

   الواقعة ٨١

6. وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ

   And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]?

   الواقعة ٨٢

7. فَلَوْلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلْحُلْقُومَ

   Then why, when it [i.e., the soul at death] reaches the throat

   الواقعة ٨٣

8. وَأَنتُمْ حِينَئِذٍ تَنظُرُونَ

   And you are at that time looking on -

   الواقعة ٨٤

9. وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ

   And We [i.e., Our angels] are nearer to him than you, but you do not see -

   الواقعة ٨٥

10. فَلَوْلَآ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ

    Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed,

    الواقعة ٨٦

11. تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ

    Bring it back, if you should be truthful?

    الواقعة ٨٧

12. فَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ

    And if he [i.e., the deceased] was of those brought near [to Allāh],

    الواقعة ٨٨

13. فَرَوْحٌ وَرَيْحَانٌ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٍ

    Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure.

    الواقعة ٨٩

14. وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ

    And if he was of the companions of the right,

    الواقعة ٩٠

15. فَسَلَـٰمٌ لَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ

    Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right."

    الواقعة ٩١

16. وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

    But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray,

    الواقعة ٩٢

17. فَنُزُلٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ

    Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water

    الواقعة ٩٣

18. وَتَصْلِيَةُ جَحِيمٍ

    And burning in Hellfire.

    الواقعة ٩٤

19. إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ

    Indeed, this is the true certainty,

    الواقعة ٩٥

20. فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

    So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.

    الواقعة ٩٦

21. سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

    Whatever is in the heavens and earth exalts Allāh, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

    الحديد ١

22. لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

    His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent.

    الحديد ٢

23. هُوَ ٱلْأَوَّلُ وَٱلْـَٔاخِرُ وَٱلظَّـٰهِرُ وَٱلْبَاطِنُ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

    He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing.

    الحديد ٣
