Saheeh International

1. فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ

   So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,

   المطففين ٣٤

2. عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ

   On adorned couches, observing.

   المطففين ٣٥

3. هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ

   Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do?

   المطففين ٣٦

4. إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتْ

   When the sky has split [open]

   الإنشقاق ١

5. وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ

   And has listened [i.e., responded] to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]

   الإنشقاق ٢

6. وَإِذَا ٱلْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ

   And when the earth has been extended

   الإنشقاق ٣

7. وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ

   And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it].

   الإنشقاق ٤

8. وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ

   And has listened [i.e., responded] to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] -

   الإنشقاق ٥

9. يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَـٰقِيهِ

   O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it.

   الإنشقاق ٦

10. فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ

    Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand,

    الإنشقاق ٧

11. فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا

    He will be judged with an easy account

    الإنشقاق ٨

12. وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا

    And return to his people in happiness.

    الإنشقاق ٩

13. وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهِۦ

    But as for he who is given his record behind his back,

    الإنشقاق ١٠

14. فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًا

    He will cry out for destruction

    الإنشقاق ١١

15. وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا

    And [enter to] burn in a Blaze.

    الإنشقاق ١٢

16. إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِىٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا

    Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness;

    الإنشقاق ١٣

17. إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ

    Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allāh].

    الإنشقاق ١٤

18. بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرًا

    But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever, of him, Seeing.

    الإنشقاق ١٥

19. فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ

    So I swear by the twilight glow

    الإنشقاق ١٦

20. وَٱلَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ

    And [by] the night and what it envelops

    الإنشقاق ١٧

21. وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ

    And [by] the moon when it becomes full

    الإنشقاق ١٨

22. لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٍ

    [That] you will surely embark upon [i.e., experience] state after state.

    الإنشقاق ١٩

23. فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

    So what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe,

    الإنشقاق ٢٠

24. وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩

    And when the Qur’ān is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allāh]?

    الإنشقاق ٢١

25. بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُكَذِّبُونَ

    But those who have disbelieved deny,

    الإنشقاق ٢٢

26. وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ

    And Allāh is most knowing of what they keep within themselves.

    الإنشقاق ٢٣

27. فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

    So give them tidings of a painful punishment,

    الإنشقاق ٢٤
