Saheeh International

1. أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ

   Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?

   المرسلات ٢٠

2. فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ

   And We placed it in a firm lodging [i.e., the womb]

   المرسلات ٢١

3. إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

   For a known extent.

   المرسلات ٢٢

4. فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ

   And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.

   المرسلات ٢٣

5. وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

   Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

   المرسلات ٢٤

6. أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا

   Have We not made the earth a container

   المرسلات ٢٥

7. أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا

   Of the living and the dead?

   المرسلات ٢٦

8. وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا

   And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.

   المرسلات ٢٧

9. وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

   Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

   المرسلات ٢٨

10. ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

    [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.

    المرسلات ٢٩

11. ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍ

    Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns.

    المرسلات ٣٠

12. لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ

    [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame."

    المرسلات ٣١

13. إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ

    Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,

    المرسلات ٣٢

14. كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ

    As if they were yellowish [black] camels.

    المرسلات ٣٣

15. وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

    المرسلات ٣٤

16. هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ

    This is a Day they will not speak,

    المرسلات ٣٥

17. وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ

    Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.

    المرسلات ٣٦

18. وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

    المرسلات ٣٧

19. هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

    This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.

    المرسلات ٣٨

20. فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ

    So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.

    المرسلات ٣٩

21. وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

    المرسلات ٤٠

22. إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ

    Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

    المرسلات ٤١

23. وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ

    And fruits from whatever they desire,

    المرسلات ٤٢

24. كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

    [Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."

    المرسلات ٤٣

25. إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

    Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

    المرسلات ٤٤

26. وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

    المرسلات ٤٥

27. كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ

    [O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.

    المرسلات ٤٦

28. وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

    المرسلات ٤٧

29. وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ

    And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow.

    المرسلات ٤٨

30. وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

    المرسلات ٤٩

31. فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ

    Then in what statement after it [i.e., the Qur’ān] will they believe?
