Saheeh International

1. فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِيٓـَٔتْ وُجُوهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَقِيلَ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَدَّعُونَ

   But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call."

   الملك 27

2. قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَهْلَكَنِىَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِىَ أَوْ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

   Say, [O Muḥammad], "Have you considered: whether Allāh should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?"

   الملك 28

3. قُلْ هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

   Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error."

   الملك 29

4. قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَآؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَن يَأْتِيكُم بِمَآءٍ مَّعِينٍۭ

   Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?"

   الملك 30

5. نٓ ۚ وَٱلْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ

   Nūn. By the pen and what they inscribe,

   القلم 1

6. مَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ

   You are not, [O Muḥammad], by the favor of your Lord, a madman.

   القلم 2

7. وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجْرًا غَيْرَ مَمْنُونٍ

   And indeed, for you is a reward uninterrupted.

   القلم 3

8. وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ

   And indeed, you are of a great moral character.

   القلم 4

9. فَسَتُبْصِرُ وَيُبْصِرُونَ

   So you will see and they will see.

   القلم 5

10. بِأَييِّكُمُ ٱلْمَفْتُونُ

    Which of you is the afflicted [by a devil].

    القلم 6

11. إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ

    Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has gone astray from His way, and He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided.

    القلم 7

12. فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

    Then do not obey the deniers.

    القلم 8

13. وَدُّوا۟ لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ

    They wish that you would soften [in your position], so they would soften [toward you].

    القلم 9

14. وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَّهِينٍ

    And do not obey every worthless habitual swearer

    القلم 10

15. هَمَّازٍ مَّشَّآءٍۭ بِنَمِيمٍ

    [And] scorner, going about with malicious gossip -

    القلم 11

16. مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

    A preventer of good, transgressing and sinful,

    القلم 12

17. عُتُلٍّۭ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ زَنِيمٍ

    Cruel, moreover, and an illegitimate pretender.

    القلم 13

18. أَن كَانَ ذَا مَالٍ وَبَنِينَ

    Because he is a possessor of wealth and children,

    القلم 14

19. إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَـٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

    When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."

    القلم 15

20. سَنَسِمُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلْخُرْطُومِ

    We will brand him upon the snout.
