Saheeh International

1. يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ

   There will circulate among them young boys made eternal.

   الواقعة 17

2. بِأَكْوَابٍ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍ

   With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring -

   الواقعة 18

3. لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ

   No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated -

   الواقعة 19

4. وَفَـٰكِهَةٍ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ

   And fruit of what they select

   الواقعة 20

5. وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ

   And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire.

   الواقعة 21

6. وَحُورٌ عِينٌ

   And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes,

   الواقعة 22

7. كَأَمْثَـٰلِ ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ ٱلْمَكْنُونِ

   The likenesses of pearls well-protected,

   الواقعة 23

8. جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

   As reward for what they used to do.

   الواقعة 24

9. لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا

   They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin -

   الواقعة 25

10. إِلَّا قِيلًا سَلَـٰمًا سَلَـٰمًا

    Only a saying [of] peace, peace.

    الواقعة 26

11. وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْيَمِينِ مَآ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْيَمِينِ

    The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?

    الواقعة 27

12. فِى سِدْرٍ مَّخْضُودٍ

    [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed.

    الواقعة 28

13. وَطَلْحٍ مَّنضُودٍ

    And [banana] trees layered [with fruit].

    الواقعة 29

14. وَظِلٍّ مَّمْدُودٍ

    And shade extended.

    الواقعة 30

15. وَمَآءٍ مَّسْكُوبٍ

    And water poured out

    الواقعة 31

16. وَفَـٰكِهَةٍ كَثِيرَةٍ

    And fruit, abundant [and varied],

    الواقعة 32

17. لَّا مَقْطُوعَةٍ وَلَا مَمْنُوعَةٍ

    Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden,

    الواقعة 33

18. وَفُرُشٍ مَّرْفُوعَةٍ

    And [upon] beds raised high.

    الواقعة 34

19. إِنَّآ أَنشَأْنَـٰهُنَّ إِنشَآءً

    Indeed, We have produced them [i.e., the women of Paradise] in a [new] creation

    الواقعة 35

20. فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُنَّ أَبْكَارًا

    And made them virgins,

    الواقعة 36

21. عُرُبًا أَتْرَابًا

    Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age,

    الواقعة 37

22. لِّأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ

    For the companions of the right [who are]

    الواقعة 38

23. ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

    A company of the former peoples

    الواقعة 39

24. وَثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ

    And a company of the later peoples.

    الواقعة 40

25. وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ مَآ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ

    And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?

    الواقعة 41

26. فِى سَمُومٍ وَحَمِيمٍ

    [They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water

    الواقعة 42

27. وَظِلٍّ مِّن يَحْمُومٍ

    And a shade of black smoke,

    الواقعة 43

28. لَّا بَارِدٍ وَلَا كَرِيمٍ

    Neither cool nor beneficial.

    الواقعة 44

29. إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُتْرَفِينَ

    Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence,

    الواقعة 45

30. وَكَانُوا۟ يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى ٱلْحِنثِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

    And they used to persist in the great violation,

    الواقعة 46

31. وَكَانُوا۟ يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَـٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ

    And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?

    الواقعة 47

32. أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ

    And our forefathers [as well]?"

    الواقعة 48

33. قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ

    Say, [O Muḥammad], "Indeed, the former and later peoples

    الواقعة 49

34. لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَىٰ مِيقَـٰتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

    Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day."

    الواقعة 50
